Elaine Chang Appointed Group General Manager of Visa Greater China

Visa, a world leader in digital payments, announced that Elaine Chang has been appointed Group General Manager for Visa in Greater China. Chang succeeds Shirley Yu, who is retiring at the end of the year.  

 

 
Chang’s career spans more than 30 years, holding senior leadership roles at Amazon, AWS, and Intel. Chang spent 20 years at Intel in various leadership roles before joining Amazon in 2013 as the Global Vice President and General Manager of Kindle China and was named President of Amazon China in 2016 and Managing Director of AWS Greater China from 2019 to 2023. In 2024, Chang took on the role of AWS Global Go-to-Market for Generative AI and Machine Learning, shaping AWS’s go-to-market approach and helping customers unlock the transformative potential of AI/ML.
